Vanessa Besack Managing Partner Vanessa Besack is an author, speaker and service professional who takes a realistic, no-nonsense approach to public relations, marketing and media relations. Her counsel is based on years of experience both as a public relations and marketing strategist and a journalist. Vanessa specializes in helping organizations raise their visibility and manage their most precious resource -- their reputation. By providing them with innovative strategies, media exposure and resources, she has assisted many companies increase profits by raising awareness of their products or services and by keeping the lines of communication open with clients and customers. Vanessa's clients have been featured by Entrepreneur Magazine and the Wall Street Journal and CNN. In January 2008, Vanessa merged her clients from Besack Communications, Inc., into the newly formed DeMo Communications, becoming a full-service agency capable of handling larger-scale projects. Prior to forming her own agency, Vanessa worked for several prestigious public relations and marketing firms in Southern California. Before entering into the public relations industry, she started her career as a staff writer and freelancer for publications such as the Los Angeles Times, Whittier Daily News , Pasadena Star News, Arizona Republic, Entrepreneur and Romantic Homes. As part of her continued commitment to assist the business community Vanessa speaks to audiences nationwide regarding public relations and reputation management. Her new book, The Missing Link, analyzes how public relations assists small businesses weather the business development cycle. Vanessa holds a bachelor's degree in Communications and also has a Journalism Certificate. She strongly believes in giving back to the community; therefore, she selects a non-profit each year to provide public relations assistance to pro bono. |
