INTERACTIVE WEBSITE TAKES OUT PLANNING,
SERVES UP MORE PLAY -- TENNIS ANYONE???

With the launch of its website, USA on the Ball allows tennis players to schedule matches with other players locally, regionally or nationwide at any club in the U.S.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA – [April 14, 2008] – USA on the Ball promises to serve up more tennis into our communities through the launch of its new interactive website, which allows players to schedule matches with other similar ranked players at one of the various clubs in their region.

Based in Orange County, Calif., USA on the Ball’s mission is to become the premier resource for players, clubs, organizations and charities which cater and promote tennis. Aside from providing members with an easy-to-use online scheduling system, USA on the Ball will also contain a comprehensive listing of private and public tennis clubs nationally that partner with the site, along with information on their clinics, lessons, tournaments and pros. The website also features up-to-the-minute tennis news and special offers from retailers and businesses catering to tennis players.

"Our mission is to promote tennis nationally and bring enthusiasts together into one community," said Kirsten Keen, president and founder of USA on the Ball. "Not only will the website provide valuable services and resources to players, but it will also become a tool for clubs, both private and public, to promote their services and tournaments. We also plan on becoming closely aligned with associations and charities that promote the growth of tennis in different communities."

Although already on line, USA on the Ball officially contains only listings of clubs and tournaments in Orange County, but it will continue to roll out over the next 18 months to other regions in the nation. Keen and her staff are working continuously to compile a listing of clubs and tournaments by region and expect to have Southern California completed by this summer and a comprehensive nationwide listing by 2009.

How It Works
Members can view each others profiles and tennis level rankings online and can send match-play invitations to one another. Once an invitation is sent to another member, that individual can view the invite to obtain match details. Members need to only respond to the invitations they choose to accept. If they decline or choose to delay answering the invite, no other action is needed.

If a member accepts an invitation at a club other than their own, Keen strongly suggests checking into the club’s guest policy. Some private clubs charge guest fees while others don’t accept guests at all. It is also the responsibility of members engaging in a match to reserve a spot at the court of choice. While USA on the Ball does not have the ability to reserve courts currently, it plans on adding that feature in the future among clubs wishing to participate.

USA on the Ball is offering tennis enthusiasts membership to the website for free. However members wishing added benefits and discounts as they become available can upgrade their membership to premier status for $39.95 a year. For more information, please visit USA on The Ball at their web site.
